# MRC PineCrest — Methodist Retirement Communities

> Lufkin's only faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community and MRC's first CCRC, open since 1992. Located at 1302 Tom Temple Drive, Lufkin, TX 75904 in the Piney Woods of East Texas, serving Angelina County and the surrounding region. Owned and operated by Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1962 with 13 communities across Texas. Offers the full continuum of care on one campus: Independent Living (patio homes and apartments), Assisted Living (The Terrace), Memory Support (George and Lottie buildings), Long-Term Care (Skilled Nursing), Short-Term Rehabilitation, and Home Health. AL License #146764.

Mission: We honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ's love. Certified in the Eden Alternative Registry. Recognized as Senior Care's Best Places to Work 2025 and Best of Lufkin 2023. Named a Vohra Center of Excellence for Wound Management. Open to adults of all nationalities, races, genders, disabilities, and religions. Many of today's residents are second or third generation family members to call PineCrest home. Home Health available to Lufkin residents.
